Kenya is among 63% of low-income countries that do not offer free high school education. Due to prohibitively expensive school fees, 71 million youth worldwide are out of school. Only 57% of Kenyan youth complete high school. Consequently, youth from low-income families are trapped in a cycle of generational poverty.
