Why Dandora Needs This Programs
We seek to create
hope, opportunity, and sustainable transformation for the youth of Dandora and beyond.
Dandora, particularly Dandora Phase 4 in Nairobi, is a vibrant community with a large population of young people who possess immense potential and talent. However, many youth in the area face significant social and economic challenges that limit their opportunities for growth and success. High levels of unemployment, limited access to skills training, and exposure to negative social influences often leave many young people without clear pathways toward a productive future.
The MugabeWere Foundation was established to respond to these challenges by creating programs that focus on youth empowerment, employment support, mentorship, and sports development. By equipping young people with practical skills, leadership opportunities, and pathways to employment, the foundation aims to help break the cycle of poverty and build a stronger, healthier community.
Investing in youth in Dandora is not only an investment in individuals but also in the future of the entire community. When young people are empowered with knowledge, opportunities, and support systems, they become agents of positive change who contribute to economic growth, social stability, and community development.
